Jordi Alba to Inter Miami is a done deal! Ex-Barcelona star to reunite with Lionel Messi and Sergio Busquets in MLS

 



Inter Miami have confirmed the signing of Jordi Alba from Barcelona, with the Spanish left-back set to reunite with former teammates Lionel Messi and Sergio Busquets in MLS.

Alba, 34, has signed a two-year contract with Inter Miami, with the option of a further year. He will officially join the club on July 1st, 2023.

The move had been rumored for some time, with Inter Miami owner Jorge Mas confirming in June that the club were in talks with Alba."Jordi Alba will sign today. Messi will debut on Friday," Mas told reporters.

Alba is a six-time La Liga champion and four-time Champions League winner with Barcelona. He has also won 110 caps for Spain, scoring 12 goals.

The left-back is known for his attacking prowess and his ability to create chances for his teammates. He will be a valuable addition to Inter Miami's squad, which is already boasting the talent of Messi and Busquets.The arrival of Alba is a major boost for Inter Miami, who are looking to build a team capable of challenging for MLS titles.
